IWNMD2013
The 2nd International Workshop on Nano and Microstructure Design (IWNMD2013) in conjunction with "Capstone Design Project Seminar" will be held in Yeungnam University, Korea, on November 28-30, 2013. The purposes of the workshop are to exchange and to discuss a wide range of topics relating to the nano and microstructure design, based on materials science and related fields. The IWNMD particularly encourages undergraduate and graduate students to make active discussion (via oral presentations) and friendship among the students.
Meeting Outline
Invited presentations (two) will be 30 min presentation + 10 min discussion
(Prof. Y. Suzuki from University of Tsukuba and Prof. IJ. Kim from Hanseo University)
Student presentations (thirteen) will be 8 min presentation + 2 min discussion
(Mr. Kazufumi Aisu and Mr. Yuji Okamoto from University of Tsukuba,
Mr. Jaehui Jeon, Dukyeon Kim, Jihwan Lee, Minghan Li, Kim Seonghyun, Seungmin Baek and Miss Eunhye Lee from Yeungnam University
Miss Arong Jeong from Kyungnam University, three students from Hanseo University)
Out of about 13 student presentations, 4 presentations will be awarded as "Excellent Presentation Award."
Please use your (group) laptop for the presentation. And, in case of safety, please bring a USB memory with your presentation file (ppt, pptx or pdf). We also prepare a PC.

Go for lunch together from 11:30 am to 12:40 pm
Seminar will begin at 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Banquet will be held from 6:30 pm at a decent restaurant near YU
November 30 (Saturday) : Visit "Haeinsa temple" (海印寺), one of the most prestigious temples in Korea, from 9:00 am by chartered bus (No charge!) and move to the Airport
after lunch to be on time for 4:15 pm flight to Narita
